Freeming Toad does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal or usage data.

What the extension does with data

When you audit or crawl a page, the extension requests that page, and related files such as robots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt and images, directly from your browser to the site being audited. Those requests go to that site and nowhere else.

Results are processed in your browser. The most recent crawl is saved in the extension's local storage on your computer so the report page can open it. It is replaced by your next crawl and removed if you uninstall the extension.

Requests are sent without cookies or credentials.

There is no analytics, advertising, tracking, or remote code. The extension has no server and makes no requests to Large Fraction.

Permissions

activeTab and scripting: read the rendered HTML of the page you open the popup on.

declarativeNetRequest: set the User-Agent header on the crawler tab's own requests when you choose a "Crawl as" option. The rule is removed when the crawl ends.

storage: save the last crawl locally.

Optional website access: requested only when you start a crawl or audit a site, and you can revoke it at chrome://extensions.

Your control
Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it stored. You can revoke site access at any time at chrome://extensions.
