Question 1

What is a fractional COO?

Accepted Answer

A fractional COO is an experienced chief operating officer who works with a company on a part-time or project basis rather than as a full-time hire. They bring senior operational leadership to businesses that need it without the cost of a full-time executive.

Question 2

Who is Large Fraction for?

Accepted Answer

Large Fraction works with founder-led businesses, typically in the $1M–$5M revenue range, that have grown on grit and great ideas but are now hitting a ceiling. The founder has become the choke point, growth feels heroic rather than repeatable, and the systems haven't kept up with the ambition.

Question 3

What does Large Fraction actually do?

Accepted Answer

Large Fraction diagnoses the operating drag in your business, architects the replacement systems, including GTM infrastructure, AI-enabled workflows, operating rhythms, and sales enablement, and transfers ownership to your team so the improvement survives after the engagement ends.

Question 4

How does Large Fraction use AI?

Accepted Answer

Large Fraction identifies the specific, high-leverage moments where AI can reclaim hours and raise output quality, without creating dependency or black-box systems. The approach is to find the repeated manual work, post-call admin, and places where good judgment is being wasted on low-stakes decisions, then build targeted AI workflows your team can actually own.

Question 5

How do I get started with Large Fraction?

Accepted Answer

The first conversation is always free. Book a 30-minute call at largefraction.com and David Estey will help identify the highest-leverage opportunity in your business. No pitch, just a useful conversation.
